New Zealand may be in the bottom corner of the globe, appearing a bit of a long distance to reach – but the destination has come into its own, repeatedly topping the charts of world’s most popular destinations for adventure, fine wines, and dramatic scenary.
As the youngest country on earth, with its pristine and rugged beaches of the north and dramatic glacier-carved landscapes of the south we went in search of a unique range of Instagrammers we thought would showcase New Zealand On Instagram a bit differently.

Being based in the Adventure Capital of the World, this rising kiwi Instagrammer from Queenstown not only calls Adventure his day job but life in the Southern Lakes of New Zealand means adventures in his spare time too. His photos regularly feature the dramatic landscapes that surround him as well as numerous travel experiences from his travels abroad.
Meet Brando, one of the most intrepid adventurers in the country. Brando has tackled the ambitious feat of being the first person to circumnavigate New Zealand’s wild coastline on foot. Taking a little over 2 years to complete the journey he’s more than earned the nickname ‘Wildboy’.
Nelson is where Brando has laid his hat and his page will certainly show you the wilder side of New Zealand.
Wellington based Mark Gee is an award winning photographer, time-lapse filmmaker and digital visual effects specialist that gained international praises when his spectacular short film ‘Full moon silhouettes’ that went viral online and got picked up by CNN, BBC and even NASA. While his personal page @markgeenz features a quirky array of images and a window into his world, his The Art Of Night page showcases his true niche of stunning astrophotography.
Landscapes, Food, Art, Sport, you name it, Auckland Instagrammer Nik has a wonderful mix of images representing all things kiwi. Her page is bright and captivating and calling the city of sails home, you’ll see a common theme of yachts scattered across the harbor.
Auckland based Zac Morley is a kiwi with a great eye and his page showcases some stunning compositions of New Zealand with a great mix of natural landscapes and great shots of Auckland. One ingredient you’ll see superbly featured from multiple different angles is the city icon Auckland Skytower.

The French aren’t short of breathtaking scenery, so you must know New Zealand is a pretty special place to live if a Frenchman trades his croissants and mountain villages for the raw beauty of New Zealand. Nico has made the garden city of Christchurch his home and his page is filled with superb landscapes and evening sunsets that demonstrate his attraction to New Zealand.
