In 2015, we created A New Concept In Tourism Marketing to promote and rebrand the famous Greek island of IOS from one as a party island for young travellers to one with a sustainable luxurious future.

 

From our experiences of working on marketing campaigns and with bloggers we were very careful to create something new and groundbreaking through video content and the insights of travel industry professionals from around the world.

Instead of having a group of online celebrities travelling to a destination and sharing their experiences via selfies on social media we chose video bloggers who all spent, at least, a week creating videos about the destination and distributing them while on location.

Our video creators were from UK, Canada, USA, Spain, Brazil and Germany and the brief was simple “Create videos of the island through your eyes and using your own unique filming style to show #lifeonIOS

During one week of the month travel industry professionals from a cross section of the industry joined us on the island for a Travel Massive Un-Conference to discuss ideas in a collaboration style which were all shared via a LIVE Blog.
